Bella is a 9 year old female Chihuahua. She is fostered in Hingham, Norfolk. Bella was brought to us with her companion a 12 year old Yorkie due to the owner having to go into sheltered housing. Bella is house trained and lead trained. Bella would benefit from another small dog for company or a owner who is home majority of the time – she could be rehomed with children over 10.

If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period.
